Tesport grew out of a simple belief: travel should feel exciting, not frustrating.

Nobuo Maeda – Co-Founder and Chief Creative & Design Officer

Multiple-time Red Dot Award Winner

Nobuo has spent 20+ years designing luggage for the world's biggest brands. Decades in, he couldn't help but notice the same compromises everywhere.

He watched beautiful bags fall apart on real trips, catalogs full of features that didn't survive contact with an actual journey. He's a multiple Red Dot Award winner—which is to say, he knows good design. He also knows the difference between design that photographs well and design that holds up. Tesport is built around that difference.

Ella Yin – Co-Founder and CEO

With over 20 years in global sourcing and product development, and travel across 50+ countries, Ella knows exactly where the journey breaks down. She's felt every bump, every broken zipper, every "why didn't anyone think of this?" moment firsthand, and spent decades figuring out exactly how travel products get made—and why so many of them miss the mark.

Her mission is simple: remove the small frictions, keep the freedom and joy. When your gear works seamlessly, everything else flows.

Nobuo and Ella met, clicked, and soon realized they were chasing the same dream: gear that keeps up with you, looks good doing it, and makes every trip feel like an adventure worth taking.

Together, they built Tesport around a simple belief: the best travel gear should disappear into the trip, not weigh it down. Nobuo and Ella built something they'd actually want to travel with—and they can't wait to see where you take it.
